A short film that touches on struggle, triumph, curiosity, courage and braving the constant unknown. A dreamy, easy-to-digest short about livin’.
This project is inspired by Ben Stiller’s The Secret life of Walter Mitty, from which we borrowed the two poetic passages heard in this film. The first half of the score is by Appalachian Meditations while the second is a fragment of the wonderful score composed by Theodore Shapiro and José González, written for the film that inspired this project. It is only fair to give credit to these musicians for making such wonderful works that worked so well with this film

This video was originally created for a university assignment exploring how the outdoors influences people. It looks at diving as a “womb-like” experience—a place where the quiet, the weightlessness, and the steady rhythm of your breath echo our earliest sense of safety and calm. Underwater, the world slows down just enough for us to feel at home in our own bodies again.
This piece invites you to sink into that stillness, explore what happens when nature brings us back to ourselves, and reconnect with something deeply human.
